Rev. Nicholas Coates, M.A, M.Div
Nick arrived at RDLUC in June of 2013. Growing up in the Maritimes, Nick moved to Toronto in 2007 to pursue a Masters of Arts in Theology (Liturgical Ecclesiology) at The Toronto School of Theology. It was there that he had a call to ministry in the United Church of Canada, so he tagged on a Masters of Divinity (Emmanuel College) to his education. Nick's passionate about connecting faith and spirituality to every day life and how it's there we can discover a life that is full of truth, meaning and beauty. Before arriving to us, Nick has worked with churches and faith-based organizations across Canada, as well as a pub or two.
When not at work, Nick enjoys being active at the gym and through playing dodge-ball, reading, writing, drinking too much coffee, listening to good music, cooking, and hanging out with friends.
