Come experience the beautiful, healing practice of Spring Forest Qigong with Darlene Abraham from 9:30 to 10:45!  This is a FREE event - meditative and prayerful!

Movements are gentle but energetically powerful!  They can be done standing or sitting and are easily modified if needed!  Comfortable clothing and footwear are all you need!

A seated, guided meditation and the beautiful sound of Tibetan/crystal bowls will be included.

Registered 10-week class: The Self-Healing exercise you need to try! Practicing Qigong is a way to experience a longer, more active life. The gentle fluid movements increase energy, open the joints, stretch muscles, and enhance balance. Movement can be done either standing or sitting. Qigong is very effective self-healing exercise and easy to learn. Similar to Tai Chi, but much easier to learn. "This unique program is specifically designed to restore youthful vigor, energy, and overall well-being."

Cost: $150 for the 10-week program.

You are welcome to bring your Little Ones for an unstructured playtime, while the Moms and Dads enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and chat. We have a small bouncy castle and some ride-on toys for the children available. Sandwiches will be served and you are welcome to bring a kid-friendly snack to share. Come and discuss Anne Lamott's novel "Hallelujah Anyway...Rediscovering Mercy" on April 22, 23 and 26. We are holding this over three different days to give everyone the opportunity to attend. No need to come to all three but if you would like to that would be great! It's going to be just like Oprah's book club but without Oprah!

These sessions support the healing of body, mind and spirit through the practice of gentle touch - nurturing, calming and restorative to help reduce stress and pain, promote relaxation, and enable faster recovery from illness, surgery and injury. Children and adults of all ages ... even pets ... benefit. Daytime appointments are fourth Monday each month at 1:30pm. Evening appointments are arranged as requested. Join us to prepare about 40 loaves of sandwiches for the Drop-in-Centre on the last Monday of each month.
