Drop-In Class: Come and experience this moving (prayerful) meditation that focuses on the breath and a closer connection to the unconditional love and healing of God’s universe!! Movements are (generally) slow and gentle. Find some peace, calm, happiness, strength, healing, and/or stillness inside. Come on out and try Qigong for Health and Wellness! Registered 10-week class: The Self-Healing exercise you need to try! Practicing Qigong is a way to experience a longer, more active life. The gentle fluid movements increase energy, open the joints, stretch muscles, and enhance balance. Movement can be done either standing or sitting. Qigong is very effective self-healing exercise and easy to learn. Similar to Tai Chi, but much easier to learn. "This unique program is specifically designed to restore youthful vigor, energy, and overall well-being."

Cost: $150 for the 10-week program.

You are welcome to bring your Little Ones for an unstructured playtime, while the Moms and Dads enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and chat. We have a small bouncy castle and some ride-on toys for the children available. Sandwiches will be served and you are welcome to bring a kid-friendly snack to share. These sessions support the healing of body, mind and spirit through the practice of gentle touch - nurturing, calming and restorative to help reduce stress and pain, promote relaxation, and enable faster recovery from illness, surgery and injury. Children and adults of all ages ... even pets ... benefit. Daytime appointments are fourth Monday each month at 1:30pm. Evening appointments are arranged as requested. Please contact the office for appointments.

If you would like to renew or start receiving the United Church Observer, payments will be accepted until February 14. Payment will be accepted online, at the church office or pick up an envelope from the Get Involved Table and drop it in the offering basket.

hospitality childcare.png

Hospitality’s been asked to help make some of our programs easily accessible to our families with young children, by offering childcare and refreshments. Childcare Position(s) will be a paid “Job”, open to all ages. Youth, who have their babysitting/first aid certificate, are welcome to work individually, or as a team.  Saturday Morning Coffee on March 10 and May 5 will be needing this support and other dates will be in the Messenger and Hospitality Events page on our website.
