Come and experience this moving (prayerful) meditation that focuses on the breath and a closer connection to the unconditional love and healing of God’s universe!! Movements are (generally) slow and gentle. Find some peace, calm, happiness, strength, healing, and/or stillness inside. Come on out and try Qigong for Health and Wellness! Each week we gather to drink coffee and explore our faith. Nick will be taking a short break over the summer and returning again in September. Various members of the group will share the leadership and continue to meet.  It’s part community, part Bible Study, part coffee break! Just bring yourself!

300 pounds of fresh turkey have been ordered for our entirely from-scratch gourmet supper! Preparations are already underway for this ever-popular community event and fundraiser. Doors open at 5pm and dinner is served at 6pm.

We know that end-of-life care and medical assistance in dying are important, sensitive and emotional issues. Patients and families have many decisions to make when faced with end-of-life care. Join us for respectful information sharing and conversation around this topic.

Presenters:

- Dr Michael Trew is chair of the Alberta Health Services Expert Panel on Medical Assistance in Dying for Non-Life-Limiting Conditions

- Evie Wallace will speak of her personal experience of her husband Hugh's decision to have M.A.i.D.

- Revs Nicholas Coates and Marilyn Evans will address the theological, spiritual and pastoral care issues around M.A.i.D.

You are welcome to bring your Little Ones for an unstructured playtime, while the Moms and Dads enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and chat. We have a small bouncy castle and some ride-on toys for the children available. Sandwiches will be served and you are welcome to bring a kid-friendly snack to share. Join us to prepare about 40 loaves of sandwiches for the Drop-in-Centre on the last Monday of each month. We gladly accept fillings or any offerings of condiments which can be brought into our fridge and labeled "sandwich bee". We appreciate any help you can give. Contact: Gerry Clark at (403) 256-1421.

Location: Healing Rooms

These sessions support the healing of body, mind and spirit through the practice of gentle touch - nurturing, calming and restorative to help reduce stress and pain, promote relaxation, and enable faster recovery from illness, surgery and injury. Children and adults of all ages ... even pets ... benefit. Daytime appointments are fourth Monday each month at 1:30pm. Evening appointments are arranged as requested.
