Who Are We?

We’re an inclusive and affirming community of faith made up of people of all ages, backgrounds, and perspectives.

Together, we seek to connect with God, one another, and ourselves — following the way and teachings of Jesus to discover a deeper, more authentic way of being human.

It’s a way of truth, joy, belonging, peace, and love — one that transforms us from the inside out so we can help transform the world around us.

Our hope is to be part of a world where everyone has enough, and everyone has a place.

Our Guiding Values

Spirituality

We gather to explore and grow in the faith and spirituality of Jesus — discovering a new way of being human and fully alive in this world.
Together, we seek to become the kind of people Jesus invites us to be: people of love, peace, and purpose, joining in with what God is doing in the world.

Community

We are an inclusive and affirming Christian community that celebrates and honours diversity.
Here, everyone is welcome and loved for who they are. This is a place of belonging, friendship, and home — where all can find connection and acceptance.

Hospitality

For us, hospitality is more than coffee and a warm greeting — it’s the intentional work of making people feel at home.
We create open and welcoming spaces where everyone can connect with God, others, and themselves in meaningful ways.

Compassion

We strive to be a community that both recognizes and responds to the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of one another.
Together, we make room to support and care for each other as we learn to navigate all the stages and seasons of life with grace.

Justice:

We believe faith calls us to make a creative difference in the world — not only by learning about justice, but by actively participating in it.
We work to help make the world more like the one God intends — where all people have dignity, hope, and enough.

We Are Affirming:

We affirm God’s unconditional love and acceptance by welcoming people of all backgrounds and identities — across ethnic and cultural diversity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic or marital status, gender identity and expression, mental health, and physical ability — into every part of our shared life together.

Our goal is to create supportive spaces and programs that are open, nurturing, and safe for everyone.

We know that attending church can sometimes feel intimidating or uncertain. That’s why we strive to embrace everyone with open hearts and open minds — offering comfort and belonging to those who are new to church, asking big questions, or exploring faith and spirituality for the first time.

Guided by God’s love and grace, we open our doors wide to celebrate our diversity and walk this spiritual journey together.

Our Behaviour Covenant:

As a community of faith, we seek to live out our values, our vision, and the love of God in the way we treat ourselves and one another.

In this place and community:

We begin by acknowledging and giving thanks for the people of the Treaty 7 lands on which we gather.

We commit to being Jesus to one another — seeing God in all people, offering love, care, and support, and striving to listen deeply and understand each other.

As an affirming community, we celebrate diversity and practice radical hospitality — welcoming everyone regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, mental health, cultural or racial background, or physical ability.

We are a community that asks questions and makes room for doubt, assuming the best in one another.
We seek to live non-violently in all its forms, honour every kind and level of participation, and practice grace, forgiveness, and reconciliation.

We create space where everyone belongs and commit to doing justice, loving kindness, and walking humbly with God.

We invite you to join us on this journey.

The United Church of Canada

We’re proud to be part of the United Church of Canada (UCC) — a denomination whose traditions, spirit, and values continue to shape who we are and how we live out our faith.

The UCC’s core commitments to Deep Spirituality, Bold Discipleship, and Daring Justice resonate deeply with us. These values guide our worship, our community life, and our work in the world.

The United Church of Canada is one of the largest Christian denominations in the country, and one of the most diverse. While we share a common foundation of beliefs, values, and practices, we also celebrate a wide range of perspectives and experiences — reflecting our belief that there is room for all people, practices, and expressions of faith in God’s world.
