Important Info for Your Pledge & Online Giving
If you completed a pledge form and indicated changes to your giving, please note that recurring donations through Breeze (also known as Tithely) are separate from UCC (United Church of Canada) PAR and need to be updated directly in your account.
What is Breeze (Tithely)?
Breeze is the program we use for online donations through the Giving page on our website and is the church’s online management system, now part of Tithely Church Management. It helps track donations and member information and allows you to set up and manage recurring donations securely on your own schedule.
UCC PAR Giving Updates
Any changes to recurring donations through UCC PAR are first submitted to the church office, which then forwards them to the United Church of Canada for processing.
● All PAR adjustment requests were submitted by RDLUC to UCC on December 16 with instructions to process them in January
● Due to an announcement from the UCC on January 23, these adjustments have been delayed until February for the following reasons:
○ The longtime UCC PAR Administrator retired in December
○ A new PAR Administrator was hired and is currently onboarding
○ A new PAR system was implemented
○ The United Church of Canada relocated its offices

Benevolent Fund
The Benevolent Fund is one of the quiet but essential ways McDougall, Ogden and Red Deer Lake United Churches live their shared ministry in the wider community.
When people face sudden crises such as an unexpected expense, housing instability, loss of income, or gaps in available support, help is not always immediate or accessible. The Benevolent Fund allows the church to respond with compassion, dignity, and timeliness. It provides short-term, confidential financial assistance to individuals and families experiencing immediate need, regardless of church affiliation.
Your contribution during this matching period (January 18 to February 15) will go twice as far, providing sustained support for a ministry that plays a vital role in our shared life together.
Thanks to the generosity of a committed supporter, our community has been given a remarkable opportunity: all gifts to the Benevolent Fund will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to a total of $10,000. In the weeks ahead, we’ll be sharing stories and insights into the meaningful work this fund makes possible, and the many ways it quietly strengthens individuals and families in times of need.
