As an Affirming church we are happy to offer marriages or commitment ceremonies to all couples, regardless of sexual orientation and background. We believe God blesses all marriages where faithfulness, respect, justice, and love are found and honored.
arranging a date
Couples may make an initial inquiry by contacting the Church Office.
The staff will help you arrange a meeting with the Minister and coordinate the wedding service.
the ceremony and reception
If you choose to have your ceremony and reception here, we have beautiful spaces indoors and outdoors to accommodate your needs. We can discuss this with you as we plan the service.
marriage license
A marriage license is required for all weddings. It is your responsibility to provide the license to the Church Office no later than two weeks prior to the wedding. It can be purchased at any Alberta Registry Office. Two witnesses are required to sign the legal documents during the wedding ceremony and they must be at least 18 years of age.
