A considerable increase in cost of living and food prices has impacted many Canadians, Albertans and Calgarians, increasing the demand and need for safe and nutritional food.

Food pantry’s are a necessity across the city, specifically, in the deep south of Calgary where there is a lack of free food resources.

You can help us keep our food pantry stocked so we can continue to work with Fish Creek United Church (FCUC), the Calgary Food Bank and The Veterans Food Bank, and anyone who comes to the church in need of food.

Consider adding a few extra items to your grocery list and bring them into the church during office hours Mon-Thurs (9 am - 3 pm) or on Sunday mornings.

You can check out the wish lists below to see what’s needed most.

Fish Creek United Church is a satellite depot for the Calgary Food Bank. Once our food pantry is full, we deliver the items to FCUC who stock their existing food shelves. Check them out here if you’d like to drop by or have any inquiries.

The non-profit organizations mentioned here are just a few. If you’re interested in others or would like to learn more about how you can help tackle hunger - additional information can be found here.
