Advent 4 - Love
Join us for Sunday Worship at 10:30 am
Christmas Garden in the Lights
This Advent, our congregations will create a set of community-made “stained glass” artworks to hang in the large windows in the link. Each piece will reflect one of the four themes traditionally represented by the Advent candles—Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love—all pointing toward the coming of Christ.
Join us in the Red Deer Lake Garden as we walk through and explore Advent together, while sipping on hot chocolate. This outdoor experience runs December 21, 22, 23 from 5-7 pm.
Longest Night Service, 7:00 pm
Join us for a gentle and contemplative service that acknowledges the realities many face during the holiday season - whether it is stress at work, the loss of a loved one, or a general heaviness during this time of year. All are welcome to gather for quiet reflection and remembrance as we listen for words of hope and look toward the light that shines in the darkness of the longest night. During the service, we will also light a candle in memory of each member we have lost this year.
