A Life You Make is a five-week creative studio experience for adults 50+ who want to explore what art might mean in this next chapter of their lives. Each week begins with an hour of practical drawing and painting instruction, followed by two hours of open studio time where participants can work on whatever they want to create. I'll be there to teach, answer questions, help develop ideas and talk with each person about what they're trying to make. Some people may simply want to learn simple painting techniques; others may want to create something meaningful to pass down to their children or explore an idea that has been waiting to emerge. This is not art therapy or psychotherapy, nor it is meant to mandate any particular religious position. It’s a safe, welcoming place to learn a new skill, slow down, make something with your hands, become part of the creative community, and perhaps discover a little more of yourself —you had forgotten was there.
